About this event
This training will provide an overview of shame and how trauma survivors carry heavy amounts of shame. We will highlight this issue with youth and adults involved in the commercial sex industry. The training will also focus on strategies to heal shame with youth and young adults who have experienced trauma. The presenters will share information on shame resilience and self-compassion.
The training will be co-facilitated by Nola Brantley and Nicole Klasey, Psy.D.
This training is made possible through Title IV-E funding in collaboration with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, Alameda County Social Services Agency, and Lincoln. The training is for providers working with Alameda County youth and young adults. The cost of the training is FREE.
