The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority is hosting the Alabama Transit Symposium (ATS) April 8-9, 2015 in Montgomery, Alabama.

The purpose of the Symposium is to conduct a centralized meeting among Alabama-based transit representatives and supporters to discuss important state and federal public transportation initiatives and concerns. Our goal is tobring together every transit agency, citizen, and stakeholder who has an interest in ensuring that the transportation infrastructure in our State is maintained and improved.

The ATS is being planned in conjunction with the American Public Transportation Association’s Stand Up 4 Transportation Day on April 9. We will take our concerns to the Alabama State House on April 8-9. The Registration fee for the ATS is $25 and payment can be made electronically when you complete your registration.
