Alabama SCA Conservation Prioritization Tool Workshop
Event Information
Description
Land Conservation (acquisitions, easement, and stewardship) is used to protect limited habitat, preserve water quality, sustain fish and wildlife populations, enhance community resilience, and revitalize local economies. The Strategic Conservation Assessment (SCA) project team is developing tools that inform where land conservation can be implemented to maximize these benefits to communities, economies, and ecosystems across the Gulf Coast Region. The team’s initial product is the Conservation Prioritization Tool (CPT) which we are looking to further refine with input from Gulf stakeholders.
We welcome you to join the SCA project team in Spanish Fort, Alabama to test-drive the Conservation Prioritization Tool!
This workshop is free, and lunch will be provided!
Participants should bring their laptops!
