Description

The march starts at The University of Akron Law Library with Tracy A. Thomas, Seiberling chair of Constitutional Law, and proceeds to the Akron-Summit County Public Library for an exhibit at Special Collections prepared by Mary Plazo, division manager, and her team.

11:30 a.m. is the start time at 150 University Avenue, Akron. Please wear comfortable shoes to hike from this location to the library. If you are unable to make the physical hike, you may park at the University and then move your car to park at the Akron-Summit County Public Library (one hour free parking) to meet us at the Special Collections Division.

A parking pass to use at The University of Akron can be printed from the Society's website: https://www.summithistory.org/events/akron-history-hike-suffrage-march

This program is funded in part by the Ohio Humanities, a state affliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Tickets are free and we encourage you to sign up here, email SCHS@summithistory.org or call the Society at 330.535.1120.
