The concept behind this group is very much in the tradition of jazz: truly an American art form. This group is comprised of Japanese-born Japanese-American musicians, as well as American-born Japanese-American musicians; all of them steeped in American jazz vocabulary, retooling and reinventing songs from their ancestral land in the jazz idiom.
