German Prince Siegfried is coming of age. During his birthday celebration, the Queen Mother introduces him to prospective fiancées. Although grateful, Siegfried dreams of pure love and ventures to the lake, to contemplate his choices. Spellbound by the appearance of a beautiful white swan, Siegfried sees it transforming into Princess Odette before his eyes. Frightened at first, Odette tells Siegfried of the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart and how he captured her and her maidens and condemned to be swans for all but a few hours of each night. Only faithful love will break the spell. Siegfried promises Odette his love and Von Rothbart appears and agrees the two will marry. The Prince must choose his bride, Siegfried is waiting for Odette to arrive and looking forward to telling the Queen. In the court animated by entertainers from far lands, Von Rothbart arrives with Odile (Black Swan). Deceived by the two into believing the girl is indeed Odette, Siegfried swears to marry her, breaking the vow of fidelity. As Von Rothbart triumphs, Siegfried runs from the palace in despair. The swan maidens, now spellbound forever, have gathered to protect Odette. Desolate, the Prince begs her forgiveness; they must part. At the rise of dawn, Siegfried is left alone on the shore while the swans peacefully swim away.

The Ajkun Ballet Theatre performs the ballet in an intimate Studio setting where the audience enjoys a closeup of the Cast and complimentary Photos with the Dancers. Hosted and introduced by artistic director Chiara Ajkun.
