Airtightness is a major part of high efficiency buildings and one of the 5 principles for Passive House buildings. Get to know the essentials building and designing airtight multifamily residential buildings at this upcoming seminar presented by Nicole Chatterton, a Building Science Consultant from RDH Building Science. Attendees will have the opportunity to better understand the basics of different air flow control strategies in building enclosure assemblies as well as the importance of airtightness and its effect on building durability and energy performance.

Nicole Chatterton, M.B.Sc., is a Building Science Consultant at RDH with a background in civil engineering. Her primary focus of work is on new construction projects. She has over nine years of experience working on major public infrastructure projects. Nicole’s research experience includes the analysis of residential basement insulation at structural footings for high efficiency and building code-compliant homes.
