Description

This class is given free of charge. Registration sign in begins at 7:45 AM. Training begins promptly at 8 AM and will run until 5 PM, with a 1 hour break for lunch.

As this is an all-day event and there is not a cafeteria on site, please bring your own lunch/snacks.

Attendees will explore various methods at reducing air leakage and increasing insulation levels resulting in significantly improving comfort, building durability, create a healthier indoor environment, and cutting annual heating and cooling costs. Following these proven techniques, the size of heating and cooling equipment can often be downsized, which reduces project costs, therefore making your bids more competitive. This class is also structured to ensure contractors are aware of how to avoid the pitfalls of unintended consequences with combustion appliances when air tightening a home. Utilizing the procedures of BPI and the International Fuel Gas Code, attendees will be exposed to the fundamentals of combustion and the proper appliance testing procedures to ensure safe operation.
