Description

The US Air Force FACE™ Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) event will be held March 28, 2017 in Dayton, OH. The FACE TIM will take place at the Crown Plaza, 33 East Fifth Street, in Dayton, Ohio.

This is an opportunity for FACE Consortium members to showcase their efforts toward developing FACE applications for new war-fighting capabilities for the services. Our target audience is the Air Force community, but other customer communities are invited to attend. Come demonstrate your FACE certified and/or aligned products, present papers on utilization of the FACE Technical Standard including lessons learned, and attend presentations from US Air Force leadership.

We have had hundreds of Army, Navy, and Air Force attendees at the FACE TIM events. Customers saw the exhibitions of products/systems aligning with the FACE Technical Standard, and learned more about the benefits of the FACE approach. We look forward to your response and participation, and to a successful event that will showcase FACE member capabilities, and provides educational opportunities to the US Air Force community. Tremendously successful FACE TIM events in 2012 were the Patuxent River FACE Exposition hosted by NAVAIR and the Army hosted a TIM at the Jackson's Center in Huntsville July. Our 2016 Huntsville FACE Army TIM. In 2013, we had similar success reaching the Air Force community at Wright Patterson AFB with an April FACE Air Force TIM & Expo event, and then again in February 2016 at the US Army Aviation TIM. The Open Group has assigned booth numbers for all exhibitors.

FACE TIM Exhibitor General Ground Rules:

  • Only FACE Consortium Member Organizations can exhibit at this event
  • This is an open event and may have non-US Persons in attendance, so you will need to clear your exhibit content with your own Export managers accordingly beforehand
  • Only organizations that commit by the deadline can exhibit at the event
  • Each Organization (or collaborative group) will be provided a single booth with power (one standard 110v outlet per booth); One booth per member organization
  • Exhibitors may only demonstrate products that are intended to be submitted for FACE Conformance
  • A poster of where the product(s) being demonstrated fit in the FACE Architecture will be required as a booth display. We will supply templates and instructions for this to exhibitors after booth reservations have been confirmed, as we have with the prior events
  • Starting in early February 2017, your identified TIM Exhibitor POC will participate in weekly Outreach Webex planning sessions, or you will designate a proxy to do so

Vendor Booths:

  • Single (8’ x 10’) at a cost of $500/each
  • Single booth includes pipe & drape, 2 chairs, 8’ skirted table, wastebasket, and one standard 110V outlet
    • 2 boxed lunches will be provided for exhibitors during the TIM on March 28th
  • Double (16’ x 10’) at a cost of $1000/each
  • Double booth includes pipe and drape, 4 chairs, up to 2 tables, wastebasket, and one standard 110V outlet
    • 4 boxed lunches will be provided for exhibitors during the TIM on March 28th
  • Booths 3 through 8 will support additional power requirements
