If you are an AmeriCorps/VISTA member, you must register for the conference by December 25th and confirm your status by January 20th. Send confirmation of your status to: conference@scava.org with subject header: AMERICORPS/VISTA Confirmation. Lodging in included, and you will not need to book with the hotel. Simply send us your first and last name when you confirm your status and we can book your lodging.

Are there any CEUs offered for attending this conference?

Nearly all of the workshops are likely to qualify for CVA continuing education requirements. However, because volunteer administrators work in a variety of fields that have vastly different continuing education requirements, we are not formally affiliated with a particular CEU. However, some of the workshops will qualify as CEUs for different credentials, so we suggest attendees look at the requirements for their particular certifying program and contact us with queries. If there is minimal paperwork SCAVA can complete as the sponsoring organization, we're happy to do so within reasonable limits. Please send queries to conference@scava.org with subject header: CEUs Inquiry.

How do I book accommodations?

We'll be at the Bay Watch Resort in North Myrtle Beach again this year. They are offering us a special conference group rate until December 25th. Call them at 1-877-779-7379 and tell them you're with SCAVA.

What kind of accommodations are they offering?

There are three housing options. All are ideal for sharing and the prices are ideal for a nonprofit budget:
