AINAC is an integral part of the initiative whereby AIN members alongside academics and professionals from engineering, entrepreneurship, environment and life sciences & healthcare sectors congregate to share creative ideas, acknowledge innovation and connect with potential partners. A two-day conference is held annually in different Arab countries, and the main activities of the conference include:
AIN Challenges: to allow corporations to crowd-source for solutions to industrial challenges using the AIN platform.
AINnovation: to allow innovators with mature ideas to get the chance to showcase their prototypes to investors.
AINcom: to link young professionals and students with NGOs and industrialist for potential opportunities.
Debates, talks and workshops from experts from world leading institutions on entrepreneurship, survival skills in business, design and creative thinking.
Interdisciplinarity involves the combining of two or more academic disciplines into one activity (e.g., a research project). It is about creating something new by crossing boundaries, and thinking across them.
This year, AINAC 2016 is coming back to Jordan. AINAC 2016 will celebrate ‘interdisciplinarity’. Collaborative interdisciplinarity is very important in fostering innovation in the Arab world to address the many complex challenges and systems we face.
