Shanelle will have copies of her albums available for purchase and signing.

Shanelle Gabriel is a soulful singer, poet, and an activist. Hailing from in Brooklyn, NY, she has toured both nationally and internationally, hitting cities from Vancouver, Canada all the way to Johannesburg, South Africa. She featured on HBO's Def Poetry Jam alongside Jill Scott and DMX and has also shared the stage with artists such as Eric Benet, Talib Kweli, Nas, Erick Sermon, and more. Shanelle was spotlighted on the Rachael Ray Show with Tyra Banks and was recognized for her work by Listerine and Wal-Mart in the "Your Mouth Matters" campaign. She appeared in a promo for the 2007 NFL Draft and competed in both the National and Individual World Poetry Slams. You can hear her voice as the narrator for Jennifer Hudson's "I Got This" audiobook and also catch her acting in Q-Tip's video for "ManWomanBoogie." Shanelle is an advocate for Lupus, a chronic illness she was diagnosed with in 2004, and she is dedicated to spreading awareness about this silent but widespread disease. She recently released her second album, Aim High, which blends her soulful singing with elements of spoken word and hip-hop.
