Description

During the AIDS2018 conference in Amsterdam, mothers2mothers will be hosting a panel discussion and knowledge-sharing session entitled: Is Retention in Care the Key to Delivering the Final “10”?

We will convene leading thinkers and frontline activists to discuss community-based strategies to deliver viral suppression—the last and most difficult of the three 90s. We hope this forum will prove valuable to all those grappling with this challenge across the African continent.

Confirmed and invited speakers include:

  • Deborah von Zinkernagel, Director, Community Support, Social Justice and Inclusion, UNAIDS (Moderator)

  • Chileshe Chilangwa, Malawi Country Director, mothers2mothers

  • Dr. Shaffiq Essajee, Senior HIV Advisor, UNICEF

  • Dr. Anja Giphart, Executive Vice President, Medical and Scientific Affairs, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation

  • Dr. Kathrin Schmitz, Director of Programmes and Technical Services, mothers2mothers

Please note: This session is only open to those registered for AIDS2018. Day passes are available for a fee.
