About this event

You and a guest are invited to join AID Atlanta in this year's 2022 Atlanta Pride Parade! AID Atlanta's parade float will be a celebration of 40 years of service to the Greater Atlanta LGBTQIA+ community. Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. Spots are provided on a first responded, first reserved basis.

Parade Information

The 2022 Atlanta Pride Parade officially steps off at 12:00pm on Sunday, October 9th and will last until approximately 3:30pm.

If you are planning to join AID Atlanta in the parade, we ask that you meet us between 11:00-11:30am at the Civic Center MARTA Station. AID Atlanta will be in ROW D, which will be the middle row on West Peachtree between the Northbound and Southbound Civic Center Station access points.

Please wear your 2022 Team AID Atlanta t-shirt! If currently do not have one, please contact Jon Santos, Director of Fundraising and Events, at jon.santos@aidatlanta.org or (404) 870-7763 to pick your shirt up ahead of time. You may also contact Jon Santos with any other related questions or concerns.

Helpful Hints

Parade units do not stop! Be sure to bring snacks and some water in a small crossbody bag, backpack, or fanny pack. Avoid bringing large purses or bags. Mobile phone service will be limited due to large crowd. Be aware that people will get separated from vehicles, floats, vans, etc. at the end of the parade (entrance to the park at 10th and Myrtle).

AID Atlanta History

This year, AID Atlanta marks 40 years of saving and transforming the lives of people at risk for and living with HIV/AIDS. We work to prevent new infections, provide free HIV/STI testing and treatment, PrEP Therapy, and operate the Georgia HIV/STI Infoline. We help patients and clients access critical services such as housing, utilities, food, transportation, behavioral counseling, health insurance premiums, and medical/pharmacy co-pays. Additionally, through our affiliation with AIDS Healthcare Foundation, we offer primary HIV medical care and pharmaceutical services at our Midtown and Newnan Health Care Centers.

AID Atlanta says thank you to the people of Atlanta for their generous support. We remind everyone that, while we have made great advances over the last 40 years, there is still no cure and no vaccine. What we do have is hope and a great community to call home.
