AIA Wisconsin has scheduled a meeting to consider and vote on the recommendation to consolidate the five AIA components in Wisconsin into a statewide chapter with four local voluntary sections. The single item of business on the agenda is approval of the Agreement and Plan of Merger to implement the restructuring recommendation. Over the past year, AIA leaders in Wisconsin examined opportunities to simplify our component structure and streamline operations. The streamlining initiative was reviewed and discussed at local chapter meetings throughout the state this summer, with positive member feedback. Members also have been voting on the Agreement and Plan of Merger at local chapter Annual Meetings. To assure that a quorum is achieved for the state member meeting on December 2, please complete and return a proxy statement to the AIA Wisconsin office by November 28. Thank you!
