AI: Exploiting it without it exploiting you

‘AI’ based tools are everywhere and present your business with opportunities to grow and expand. However, like all tools they can do more harm than good if you don’t manage them correctly. Like any tool, you’ve got to know how to use it.

In this practical workshop we’ll go through what sort of AI tools are out there to help you and your business and some basics of how they work. We’ll explore what you need to do to make them work for you and what some of the traps are for you to avoid.

By the end you’ll be able to;

• Spot what is genuinely an AI based tool (and what is just snake oil)

• What you need to do to maximise the use of AI based tools to get the best benefit for your organisation

• Be aware of the dangers of uploading your company data to the public (free) AI tools like ChatGPT

• Protect yourself from cyber attackers in their use of AI to scam people both in organisations and personally and what you can do to protect yourself
