Join Taylor LaRosee, a registered dietician at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center (AHWC) where she will discuss how nutrition plays a role in exercise for active adults through the Active Nutrition Series. Come with questions, leave with a plan!

Class Dates and Times:

Building a Balanced Plate: Monday, August 15, 6:15 p.m.

Take the mystery out of building a balanced meal. During this seminar, we’ll dive into building balanced plates for meals and snacks to enhance performance for a variety of different goals. Plus, we’ll touch on meal preparation and how that can help save time and keep you fueled throughout your day.

*There will be food samples at the August session for those who register for the in-person option.

Under-fueling and its Impact on Performance: Monday, September 12, 6:15 p.m.

Have you been dieting for years and still aren’t seeing the performance and fitness results you’d like? There’s a reason! During this seminar we’ll take a look at why chronic under-fueling might be negating the work that you are putting in your sport of choice and how under-fueling impacts performance, sleep, gut health and metabolic rate.

Anschutz Health and Wellness Center Grocery Lab OR via Zoom (Zoom links will be sent to virtual attendees before each class.)

Class Cost:

Free for AHWC Fitness Center members

About Taylor:

Taylor LaRosee, RDN, LD, MPP-D, is a registered dietitian with AHWC’s campus and community team and has worked with athletes of all ages and stages, ranging from high schoolers to professionals. Client education forms the backbone of her approach where athletes learn how to apply the fundamentals of health, nutrition and wellness to help them reach their goals.


The nearest visitor parking lots are Snowmass and Monte Vista. Visitor parking is $1/hour (via lot pay stations).
