Join us in person at the Wilder Center for the Affordable Housing Connections Annual Conference on December 6, 2022. Covering compliance outcomes in 2022 and what to expect in 2023, gather with AHC staff and our guest speakers for a full and enriching day.

Renee Dickinson from Minnesota Housing Finance Agency will preview upcoming Compliance Guide changes and we'll have a legislative update. AHC Education Leadership Center (ELC) opportunities for 2023 will also be introduced.

In the afternoon, we'll welcome Robin Shear, a joy coach, speaker, author, and founder of Joy To The World Coaching, as our keynote speaker. Robin offers fun and engaging presentations to audiences of depleted givers, inspiring attendees to take action while they declare they have never laughed that much at a conference. Robin's first book, "Messy Joy," will be released in January. She is frequently featured as a joy expert in media, including TIME Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. You can find out more on her website. Her topic on December 6 will be:

BURNOUT BUSTER: THE JOY OF BEING SPONTANEOUS
Here’s good news for anyone in the trenches: Having fun can combat burnout. Through laughter and photo-filled stories, you'll get permission to play more. Examine your comfort zones and learn how being more spontaneous brings joy – to you and your loved ones. Feel the freedom of telling burnout goodbye!

To close the day, Bryan Hartman, AHC's Manager of Housing Assistance Services, will facilitate a panel discussion about the success of Elliot Twins in using credits for preserving public housing.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, plus a drawing for door prizes.
