About this event

The AHA PopUps are a casual event in a beautiful gallery space. We have room for 14 spaces inside and 8 spaces outside. Participation is open to members only. To participate, artists submit a cell phone number, an email address, and photos of their work for the jury process, unless you have previously participated in a PopUp. To join AHA please email ahatallahssee@gmail.com and you will be added to the mailing list. There is no application process or membership fee currently. Payments for the PopUps are due upon registration on Eventbrite. This event is first come first serve basis, once the spots are filled there will not be any other opening unless there is a cancelation (see cancelation policy below).

AHA, Artists Helping Artists is just that, and we want a fun and successful opportunity for the artists as well as our customers. We have been fortunate to have a variety of fine artist and fine crafts persons and welcome your participation.

Artists may participate in two ways.

  1. Vendor: artist sets up, breaks down, handles sales and has an 8'x8' (approx.) space inside or 10'x10' outside. Spaces are assigned by a lottery drawing the week before each show.
  2. Exhibitor: artist drops a small amount of work and we set it up and handle sales. Cash and check sales are simply kept for the artist and handed over when unsold product is picked up. There is a 10% fee for credit/debit card sales. Exhibiting artist work is placed after vendors are set up.

Hours for the PopUp will be 10 am – 4 pm.

The PopUp Gallery is on the second Saturday of every month. Registration will open the first day of the month prior to the popup. Occasionally there may be a special event that will take place of the PopUp, AHA Members will be notified in advance.

Set up is on the Friday before the event, 11-5. Artists bring your complete set up including tables, chairs, bins, table coverings, etc. There will be someone there to help and answer questions. Outside vendors come as you like. The building will not be open until 7:30 am Saturday morning.

GALLERY LOCATION: 307 N. Main Street, Havana, FL

From Tallahassee, Highway 27 north, through the second traffic light. The gallery is on the right---drive just past it and turn right on 6th Avenue and immediately turn right into the alley that runs behind the shop.

Parking: While unloading you are allowed to park in the back of the building, after you are finished please relocate your vehicle to the parking lot across the street behind the Ice Machine. Customers will be sent to the rear of the building to park.

Cancellation Policy:

Up to 7 days before the event starts you may request a refund through Eventbrite; you will be charged processing fees and given credit for your remaining fee to be used for another event put on by AHA Tallahassee in the future. (Credit expires after 1 year from refund date)
