UTRCA is excited to offer a two-part series workshop on soil health featuring Christine Brown, Field Crop Sustainability Specialist. The first session is delivered through the following, and the second provides participants with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Christine to refine their crop fertility plans and address specific needs of their farm.
At this workshop, you will learn about the new AgriSuite tools available, how to use them, how to prepare a custom Crop Fertility Plan, and how to interpret your soil sample results.
It is a suite of free web-based decision support tools developed by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). AgriSuite is available online at agrisuite.omafra.gov.on.ca. - save money by improving the amount of fertilizer and other materials used
- reduce the environmental impact of on-farm generated nutrients
- protect drinking water sources
- reduce soil erosion
