Learn more about federal and state labor requirements that will help protect you and your migrant, seasonal and H-2a farm workers. This forum will cover wage and hour requirements, safety in transportation and housing, and more. Training is provided by the US DOL Wage and Hour Division, US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Oregon Employment Department, Oregon BOLI, Oregon OSHA and Oregon Ombudsman for Injured Workers. This free training is brought to you by WorkSource Oregon in Woodburn. Discussions will include:


  • Overview of Oregon Employment Department agricultural outreach programs
  • Oregon OSHA H-2a housing inspections
  • US DOL overview of agricultural labor requirements, including H-2a
  • Oregon BOLI wage and hour requirements applicable to agricultural growers
  • US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission requirements concerning harassment, intimidation, and retaliation
