West Michigan Farmers and Landowners are invited on a Farm Bureau / MAEAP Agricultural Conservation Practice Tour
Learn what local farmers are doing to protect their soil and how to access $2.8 million in new cost-share funds. This free bus tour includes delicious refreshments, lunch and presentations from soil health experts in a spacious air conditioned bus with restrooms.

Friday, August 24th 8-12:30pm

8am: Load the bus at Schwallier's Country Basket: 1185 9 Mile Rd, NW.

Presentations by NRCS & MSU Extension:
Matt Soehnel - District Conservationist
Christina Curell - Soil Health Educator.

Tile/soil health demonstration at 14 Mile NW (East of Fruit Ridge) by Frank Gibbs - Certified Soil Scientist.

12 pm: Lunch at Schwallier's Country Basket. Speak to producers who have installed money saving conservation practices.
