Aging: Building Community and Connection

An inspiring half-day event for professionals and volunteers working with older adults in health care and/or social services settings featuring a presentation by Dr. Elizabeth Eckstrom on "Learning from the Blue Zones: Lifestyle, Planning, and Engaging to Optimize Independent Aging." This event will highlight the work of three community organizations who are championing different age-friendly approaches to building community and connectedness. CEUs available.

This event is sponsored by Multnomah County's Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative in partnership with OHSU, Villages NW, Metro Homeshare, and Volunteers of America.
