The workshop will feature invited presentations and discussions that will explore (1) the state of the knowledge about how stereotypes affect older adults and adults with disabilities, and how they affect various industries that interact with these populations; (2) successful and promising strategies for disrupting stereotypes; and (3) opportunities for changing perceptions about aging and disability.
