AGI Open is an annual two-day conference for students and professionals that coincides with the annual AGI members’ congress. After Porto, Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, Sao Paulo, and Biel, the AGI Open 2016 is finally taking place in Seoul.
Seoul is the capital and the largest metropolis of South Korea, marking the world’s 14th largest city and second largest metropolitan area. It is home to over half of all the residents of South Korea along with 678,102 international residents.
The birthplace of K-pop and Hallyu(the Korean Wave), Seoul received over 10 million international visitors in 2014, making it the world's 9th most visited city and 4th largest earner in tourism. Truly a city that never sleeps, Seoul offers a range of authentic or shall we say unique activities and culture that are found nowhere else. World class cuisine and always surprising everyday local experiences continue to define what is an ever changing city. This will be the first AGI hosting in Seoul, and the AGI Korea organizing team is honored to serve and present to the citizens of Seoul and its vicinities AGI’s world-renown graphic designers varying from respected masters to emerging designers who utilize cutting-edge technologies, processes and philosophies.
