Age UK Lambeth want to reduce isolation and loneliness of older housebound people and those who are self-isolating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Given the huge demand, we are here to serve older and vulnerable people. We define vulnerable very widely and not only includes those that have been told to self-isolate but anyone with a health condition, disability or are a carer.

Friendship calls are made by volunteers to phone the (usually older) person to check- in and chat on a regularly weekly basis.

This Induction webinar will outline expectations, give you confidence and help you understand what might happen on a call.
