Event description

Description

The afternoon will be an extension of the morning session with a broadening and deepening of the show’s structure and form unfolding. Jungian concepts such as the “disowned feminine,” and “otherness” will be explored as important inner psychological processes which are projected onto the outer world from within the characters on the show. Additionally, trauma, and its effects will be well demonstrated through the events which take place on Game of Thrones. The day as a whole will be engaging and stimulating.

**It is helpful for attendees to be familiar with the show and its characters. There will be video clips played through the discussion which may contain graphic content.

Robert Antonacci, Ph.D. spent two years of pre-doctoral internship at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Reiss-Davis in Psycho-Educational Diagnostic Testing Service for children and adolescents. He has worked 15+ years in the entertainment industry as a designer and art director. His clinical interests include Jungian and depth psychology, dreams, shamanism, sports psychology, voice dialogue and working with those who experience marginalization.
