AFTER completion of Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS), and no earlier than 120 days from separation/retirement/deactivation/demobilization, MCAS Miramar service members will attend the first stage of Capstone with MCCS TRS staff in the Hub to verify completion of Career Readiness Standards (on the DD Form 2648 eForm) and any warm handover requirements. Upon completion, TRS staff will send the service member's unit commander (or designee) an electronic token that will allow the commander to begin and complete the Commander's Verification portion of the DD Form 2648 eForm.
During this 1st Stage Capstone Review, participants will need to show/bring:
- Completed Individual Transition Plan (ITP)
- Budget/financial plan
- Completed MOC Crosswalk
- Resume/references (or job offer letter)
- Commander or designee's NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS (see UTC for this)
- Other requirements as specified by the references below
Participants will be briefed on all requirements by the transition staff during TRS.
