Event description

Description

Join the Mid-Michigan Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area and CISMA partner Michigan Wildflower Farm for this free evening workshop. Registration is limited to 30. Even though we have currently reached capacity, PLEASE STILL SIGN UP- you can be placed on a waiting list to receive a spot through a cancelled registration, or if our waiting list grows to a substantial number, we can add an additional workshop date.

You have been working hard on invasive species control. Now what? During this workshop and tour of the Michigan Wildflower Farm, you will be introduced to the benefits of native plants and species that can be used in your restoration project, as well as a review of how to do a wildflower seeding. The Mid-Michigan CISMA would like to thank Michigan Wildflower Farm for providing a tour and sharing their expertise!

Please come with proper attire to walk around the farm to see the native plant beds. The rain date for this workshop will be July 23.

Any registration questions can be directed to Erin Pavloski, Regional Invasive Species Coordinator, at erin.jarvie@macd.org or by calling 517-676-2290 ext. 2.

The Mid-Michigan CISMA is funded in part by the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program (www.michigan.gov/invasives).
