The After School Art Sampler is a series of open-studio art classes inviting children to freely experiment with a variety of media. Kids ages six years to twelve years of age will be introduced to art materials that go beyond the standard ‘markers and crayons’ and allow for safe, open-ended learning. Children may participate in that day’s special project or work on something of their own choosing. Sessions may include painting, drawing, origami, sculpture or clay.
This class is always exploring new territory so it is easy to sign up again and again. This is the perfect way to expose young artists to a variety of media and techniques as they learn the elements of art.
