Description
After Hours at Hewn: Baking Bread with Heritage Wheat is the perfect class for beginning bread bakers. Participants will learn how to mix, shape, score and bake bread in the Hewn kitchen. There is no pre-requisite for this class, but taking our "Creating the Starter" course is a helpful introduction. We will be using our own Hewn starter for this class, so don't worry if you don't have your own.
Be prepared to dig into the dough and learn some great tips about baking at home. Ellen started out by baking bread in her small oven at home - you can do it too!
Refreshments and a light dinner will be served. And, everyone leaves with a loaf of freshly baked bread. Signed copies of Heritage Baking will be available for purchase at a special price.
