Ready to take your digital media skills to the next level? In this course, you’ll learn the basics of After Effects through the lens of creating digital art projects, applying introductory skills to non-traditional formats. After three workshop classes, you’ll leave with a piece of Net Art or an animated GIF, and you’ll have the foundational skills you need to start creating longer-form films.

This class makes you a Software Certified Level 1 producer, meaning that you can check out Open Signal’s Macbook Pro laptops with Adobe Premiere Pro, FCPX and Adobe Creative Cloud for free, and submit videos to our cable channels.

Prerequisite: None, but we recommend having a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator.
