About Afropolitan:
Afropolitan is a monthly Afro-Caribbean happy-hour mixer series where Diaspora professionals in major cities throughout the US can connect, unwind and enjoy a great selection of Afro-Caribbean music by A-List Afrobeats and International DJs.
The Afropolitan movement started in Washington, DC in July 2013 and is now DC's largest multi-cultural professional mixer, attracting close to 800 young professionals every month to connect, exchange ideas and socialize. The movement made its way out of DC in May 2015 and is now the largest Afro-Caribbean mixer in NYC attracting over 500 professionals. Afropolitan producers, Drumpulse Entertainment, have partnered with Ankara Miami, Inc. to expand to South Florida given its high concentration and quality pool of young and eligible professionals of African and Caribbean descent.
