Mark your calendars! On September 21 & 22, the Museum of African American History and Emerson College will host a 2 day Afro-Futurism and Black Comix symposium! This symposium includes a lecture and round table event on Friday and a workshop event on Saturday!

Roundtable Discussion

5:30-6:30pm Reception/Book signing (bring own book, books will be available for purchase on Saturday)

6:30-7:30pm Lecture by John Jennings - Sequential Sankofa: Critical Nostalgia, Afrofuturism and the Black Comix Archive

7:30-8:30pm Roundtable discussion featuring the artists and Q&A
