Description

African Liberation Day 2017 will mark the 45th anniversary of the founding of our glorious African People's Socialist Party (APSP). In this time the Party has stood as the vanguard revolutionary Party of Africans worldwide. We have always used ALD not only as a means to push forward our struggle for liberation but also a means to engage the black community in current struggles. Join us in celebrating the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party for 45 years of paving the road to liberation!

Program:

African Liberation Day 2017 will be celebratory event beginning with a grand parade through the black community of Anacostia. We will assemble at 9:30am at the Anacostia Metro, parade in true revolutionary fashion towards the Union Temple Baptist Church where we will continue our festivities indoors with our indoor program beginning at 10:45am.
