Dr. Edith Bruder is a research associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her current research focus is on African Judaism. She is the author of The Black Jews of Africa: History, Identity, Religion (2008). 

This event is co-sponsored by the Department of French and the African Studies Program.
