Join us with fashion model Simone Small to learn the history of African Headwraps, meanings and symbolism. You will be taught about fabric types and learn to tie headwraps in a variety of ways. Bring a friend and some fabric with you.

Simone Small is a Canadian born arts and fashion industry professional with a background of over 17 years in the field. Raised in Toronto, Simone is an Alumna of the esteemed Etobicoke School of the Arts as well as York University and Humber College where she majored in musical theatre, communications and the business of fashion respectively. In 2007 Simone moved to South Africa where she worked in advertising as a full-time print and commercial model, appearing in ads for premium African fashion labels as well as international household brands such as Coca-Cola, Harley Davidson and L’oreal.
