Event description
A movie viewing event that educates the community on the life of a young woman in Africa.

About this Event

You are invited to join us for a fun and casual event which provides African food, casual conversation, and a great movie! After the event we will have a Q&A and discussion on the work that is done by Esther’s Hope which provides educational scholarships for many young women.

An education will allow them to change the direction of their entire life. A life free of being sold for two goats to an older man who has numerous wives and children. This life is spent caring for children, that are not hers, and also the “husband” and his aging wives. It saves these young women from sexual mutilation and from having their front teeth knocked out as some tribes require.

Esther’s Hope works with the local families, the African Government, and donors who all contribute to these scholarships. We are pleased to announce on 2/9/20, we have been able to award scholarships to 151 hard working and grateful young women!

A glimpse as some of our fun gifts you can purchase! ALL of the proceeds go directly to the scholarships.

Beautiful bracelets! Do not get hooked on this one because I think I want to buy it! Sincerely, Christine Morse. :)
