Description

The project The European Union’s Normative Role in African Extractives Governance (ENRAG) seeks to promote collaboration in the research and policy communities of the EU and Africa on the theme of extractive industry governance.

As part of this project, the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) is hosting a research colloquium and policy dialogue on Monday 4 February 2019 on the sidelines of the Investing in Africa Mining Indaba in Cape Town, South Africa. The objective of this workshop is to explore the impact of the EU on extractive industry governance in Africa and strengthen EU-African academic and policy cooperation in this area.
