About this Event

African Union Ambassador to the United States,H.E Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, H.E Albert Muchanga, the African Union Industry and Trade Commissioner and other dignitaries will be in Dallas, Texas on Friday November 8th and Saturday, November 9th 2019 to launch investment and development initiatives including the monumental African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA). An initiative that is about to create one of the largest free trade areas in the world by bringing Africa to the world stage as one block, one continent and speaking with one voice toward achieving the agenda 2063 goals which is the continent’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into a global powerhouse of the future.

The Diaspora is a primary participant in the pursuit of this Agenda. Its main task therefore, is to serve as a catalyst for building global collaborative relationships, capacity building, mobilization of global capital, and leading investment activities on the continent.
