DESCRIPTION: Told through a series of clips and pictures, Dr. Gerald Butters of Aurora University describes the far-reaching influence and musical excellence of African American artists in the American film industry. Beginning in the 1920s, the lecture will trace a path through Hollywood to the present day. Please join us as we celebrate Black History Month by offering this special presentation.
