The African American Symposium supports and informs people concerned about or caring for loved ones who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and a related dementias. You will hear from experts in the field about services available to help those living with Alzheimer’s disease, along with the latest advances in research.
Keynote Speaker: Anton P. Porsteinsson, M.D., AD-CARE Program and William B. and Sheila Konar Professor of Psychiatry, UR Medicine, will share information about the biology of the disease and new methods of detection and treatment.
