Instructor Biography

Jonathan Lofgren , Faculty, Minneapolis Community and Technical School, Consultant & Trainer

Jonathan Lofgren, a native Minnesotan, holds a Ph.D. in Education - specializing in Training & Performance Improvement from Capella University, is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Co-occurring Disorders Professional – Diplomat. Dr. Lofgren has 30 years of behavioral health and education experience. Jonathan is a faculty member at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and a Clinical Consultant at HCMC’s Positive Care Program. Jonathan is the founder of Adler Graduate School’s Co-Occurring Disorders Master Degree specialization, MCTC’s Student African American Brotherhood program, and MCTC’s Collegiate Recovery Program. Dr. Lofgren is an active member of the International Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, and is Chair of the Minneapolis NAACP Behavioral Health & Wellness Committee.
