Join us for a special event focusing on occupational licensing reform here in Wisconsin.
Occupational licenses are essentially government permission slips dictating who can work in particular fields. These laws might make sense for doctors and lawyers, but across the country, we see unnecessary licenses needed for jobs like painting and hair braiding.
These occupational licensing laws serve as barriers to entry for workers in our economy, and that is why we are ready to bring about reform. Join us Tuesday, December 6th from 6-8pm in Wauwatosa for a presentation by Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty's Colin Roth on the harmful impact of burdensome occupational licensing laws and what we can do to fix it.
Food and beverages will be served to all guests! For more information, please email Chris Lawrence at CLawrence@afphq.org.
