Wednesday Lunch and Learn Ballot Issues
This week we will have an honored guest speaker
Senator Kevin Lundberg District 15 and Senate Majority Leader
discussing two very import ballot measures:
Proposition 107 Presidential Primary Elections
Proposed amending the Colorado Statutes to: Establish a presidential primary election in Colorado that allows participation by unaffiliated voters.
Proposition 108 Unaffiliated Voter Participation in Primary elections
Proposes amending the Colorado statues to: Change the primary election process in CO to allow unaffiliated voters to vote in nonpresidential primary election of a single political party; and
Allow political parties to opt out of holding a primary election and instead choose to nominate candidates by assembly or convention.
While these two issues may not appear at first glance to be very important, they are perhaps two of the most important issues for you to consider. Before you mark your ballot learn what you need to know.
Join us for a free lunch-n-learn with Senator Lundberg this Wednesday October 19th from 11:30 am to 1pm at our AFP Fort Collins Office
1101 Oakridge Drive Suite A Fort Collins- (South of Harmony Rd. East off of Lemay next to St Lukes Medical)
