Event description

Description

Join Austin Foodshed Investors and the Slow Money community for an evening of incredible food and thought provoking discussion! This on-farm dinner and discussion will be hosted on Monday, May 21st at the beautiful Springdale Farm in Austin with dinner featuring their sister restaurant, Eden East. $125 per ticket for Early Bird special. $150 per ticket after March 7.

Slow Money Founder, Woody Tasch, will be speaking about ideas and concepts from his newest books, SOIL: Notes Towards the Theory and Practice of Nurture Capital. Nurture capital is a vision of finance that starts where investing and philanthropy leave off, giving us a new way to reconnect to one another and places where we live, all the way down to local food systems.

Marco Vangelisti will speak, a founding member of Slow Money and member of the leadership team of the Slow Money Northern California Network since 2009. Marco's journey from institutional global finance to personal local investing is both inspiring and an actionable roadmap for values-based investors wishing to transtition to personal impact investing.
