Description

Regenerative Real Estate: Healing the World and Your Bottom Line.

Sponsored by the Jacob and Anita Penzer Foundation, produced by Alexander Golding, and done in partnership with Jewish Funders Network, this speaker series is meant to convene real estate investors and owners around the material topics that comprise impact real estate. Discussions will touch upon the major industries in real estate: affordable housing, design, energy management, retrofitting, management, and construction. Speakers will also elucidate the difference between degenerative, net zero, and regenerative real estate.

There will be no panels. The entire idea is to educate and connect real estate investors and owners on cutting-edge topics. To promote an educational atmosphere, expert speakers will be brought in to host roundtable conversations on the sub-topic in which they are the experts.

The first session will be December 4 in New York City and will cover the important sub-topics of affordable housing and the affordability of housing. The event will be open to the general real estate investor community and for members of Jewish Funders Network.

The bootcamp itself will take place from 3:00-5:00pm at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, 620 8th Avenue, and will be followed by a cocktail party. Expect to leave with actionable takeaways for you to employ in your future real estate investments.

Takeaways will include:

  • Overview of the affordable housing landscape.
  • The difference between affordable housing and the affordability of housing.
  • Strategies on community development which will add value to your properties.
  • Specific deals and strategies so you can be at the intersection of money and meaning.
