Affecting Perception: The Art of William Utermohlen
Speaker: Sebastian Crutch
Sebastian Crutch brings to life the work of William Utermohlen. William Utermohlen is a well-known artist who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in his later life. The works which followed this diagnosis are fascinating examples of the changes inflicted on creation by dementia. Sebastian Crutch is a Senior Research Fellow at Alzheimer’s Research UK and a clinical psychologist at the UCL Institute of Neurology.
