Evidence Informed Decision Making: What do we Need to Know about Children?
Dr. Marsha Kline Pruett will give a child development refresher in the context of family law matters, including:
key characteristics of each age;
developmental risks relevant to separation and divorce;
red flags for child stress; and
tips for co-parenting at each developmental stage.
She will explain a decision-making grid for making evidence informed decisions. Dr. Pruett will include considerations for step-up plans and how to determine when and what services may be needed to make appropriate decisions for increasing parenting time.
