Lunch & Learn: Stipulating to Supervison

Providing children with safe, conflict-free access to their non-custodial parent

Join AFCC-MN for a practical guide to supervised parenting time in Family Court matters. Reaching an agreement regarding supervision (or getting a Court Order) is just the beginning. Find out what type of service is appropriate for your client, how to manage expectations, and how to avoid pitfalls. Learn more about existing state and professional standards, types of supervision options, and how to locate reliable providers. Our panelists, representing over 12 counties, will take your questions and provide four key take-aways along with their perspective on effectively using supervised parenting time to meet your client's needs.

Our guest speakers will be Glorina F, Fruetel --  Program Manager of the Supervised Parenting Program at FamilyWise and Heather Molesworth -- Family and Community Services Director for West Central Minnesota Communities Action (WCMCA) along with Laurel Ferris as moderator.

Click here for more information on our speakers.

The learning objectives of this session are to familiarize attendees with:

  1. the range of available supervision services
  2. existing state and professional standards
  3. community and facility-based resources
  4. common pitfalls in the context of custody disputes.
